SM’s security force undergo joint tactical inspection

The Security forces of SM Malls in Baliwag and Pulilan march with their might during the Parade-in-Review conducted at the recent Joint Tactical Inspection and General Assembly at SM City Baliwag Annex Parking.

BALIWAG, Bulacan — SM Malls in Baliwag and Pulilan continue to uphold the security and safety of mall-goers through its annual Joint Tactical Inspection and General Assembly recently conducted by the Customer Relations Services (CRS) Department and Security Force at SM City Baliwag’s Annex Parking.

The inspection aims to ensure efficiency and security manpower skills of the malls’ security force and check their readiness in responding to emergency situations.

The SM Emergency Response Team or SMERT, a special unit under the mall’s resiliency program likewise demonstrated their preparedness for disasters and hazards that may impact customer’s safety and business sustainability through simulated scenarios which include rescue and first aid treatment.

Present to grace and inspect the security force’s performance were Deputy Provincial Director for Bulacan Operation PLTCOL Froilan Uy and SM’s Senior Assistant Vice President for Customer Relations Service Almus Alabe who instilled the importance of discipline, alertness, and vigilance in ensuring customer safety and handling crisis and emergency situations.

During the Joint Tactical Inspection, exemplary guards and other agency personnel were also awarded a commendation for their honesty and trustworthiness in returning valuable recovered items to mall patrons.

The Joint Tactical Inspection is one of the annual exercises observed in all SM Supermalls nationwide that aims to examine personnel compliance with the company’s security standards and policies. SM Malls in Marilao, Valenzuela, Sangandaan and Savemore Malabon likewise held their Joint Tactical Inspection last May 7 at SM City Marilao’s parking lot. (RONDA Balita Online News)
