Swine carcass found floating in Malolos river


City of Malolos — Another swine carcass was found floating in the Malolos river system in Barangay Bulihan in this town on Sunday afternoon (Sept. 15).

The animal was chopped into several body parts and its rotting smell caught the attention of the residents in the area.

Barangay Chairman Crisanto de Jesus ordered it turned over to the city veterinary personnel for its proper disposal.

On Friday, at least 10 dead piglets were also found floating in a waterway in Barangay Tikay of this city and the cause of its deaths are not yet known nor the identities of its owners

Malolos City Mayor Gilbert Gatchalian has ordered the city veterinarian to investigate the cause of the recent mysterious swine deaths in several barangays of Malolos in coordination with the personnel of the Bureau of Animal Industry. (RONDA Balita Online News)
