As of this date, four have been confirmed to have died and out of the 27 who were brought to various hospitals. 17 remain in confinement. Sixty families were affected by the sudden flow of water from the tank.

As our immediate response, we have deployed personnel in various hospitals to ensure that hospital bills are settled and proper medical attention are given to the injured. We are also coordinating with the families of the casualties and all funeral and burial expenses will be shouldered by San Jose water. Claims for property damages will be evaluated in coordination with an independent appraiser and will be paid for by San Jose Water.

Tsk! Tsk! Tsk!

May sumabutahe daw ba kaya?
