P3.4 million worth of shabu seized in City of Malolos

CITY OF MALOLOS, Bulacan — Three million four hundred thousand pesos worth of shabu with an estimated weight of 500 grams were seized from a suspect in a drug sting by the authorities in Brgy. Mojon here on Monday evening (May 3).

Col. Lawrence Cajipe, Bulacan provincial director, said on press statement Tuesday that drug peddler identified as Alexander De Naga alias Bong of Brgy. Tungkong Mangga, City of San Jose del Monte was arrested about 11:30 p.m.

According to Cajipe, based on the report of Provincial Intelligence Unit of Bul PPO, Major Jansky Andrew Jaafar, acting PUI chief, his operatives conducted an anti-drug illegal drug operation or buy-bust operation against the suspect in Diversion Road, Brgy. Mojon.

Confiscated from the suspect’s possession were two pieces knot-tied transparent plastic bags containing shabu of more or less 500 grams with estimated street value of P3,400,000; blue box, cellphone and buy bust money.

The arrested suspect and confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to Bulacan Provincial Crime Laboratory Office for appropriate examination.

Criminal complaints for Violation of RA 9165 against the suspect are now being prepared for filing in court.

“Bulacan police despite its multi-tasking efforts in the fight against this pandemic COVID-19 will remain vigilant and relentless in the campaign against illegal drugs as directed by the Regional Director of PRO3 Brig. Gen. Valeriano T. De Leon,” Cajipe said. (RONDA BALITA Online)
